Ribbons & Daisy
Spike was a scrappy street cat, scarred, tough, and proud. One sunny afternoon, sweet old Mrs. Willoughby spotted him, scooped him up, and declared, “What a precious little girl!”. She named him Ribbons, dressed him in pink bows, and fed him like royalty. Spike tried to protest with hisses, plant sabotage, and even a dead mouse, but Mrs. Willoughby just giggled. “Such a thoughtful young lady!”
Ribbons the Tomcat
Over time, he got used to the cozy life. He still roamed at night but always came home to soft beds and salmon treats. The neighborhood cats whispered, but never mocked. Ribbons might wear pink, but everyone knew he could still fight like Spike. And Mrs. Willoughby? She never stopped calling him her beautiful girl. Spike didn’t correct her.
Real toughness is owning your ribbons.
Daisy the First Child
Daisy the cat seethed as Mrs. Willoughby fussed over “Ribbons,” the rugged tomcat she’d mistaken for a dainty lady. Spike - his real name - now pranced about in Daisy’s bows, lounging on her cushions, soaking up all the attention. He didn’t even like ribbons. He chewed them!
